Streetscapes – Vers l’incréé
Le fruit de leur longue collaboration, l’exposition est un dialogue ouvert entre une artiste et un architecte, Sandra Binion et Marc Dilet, une jonction saisissante entre l’interprétation et la création.

Tout commence par les observations photographiques de Sandra d’étonnants déchets dans la rue qu’elle capture dans un processus de sélection méticuleux. Grâce à son regard incisif, ces rebuts prennent des formes de beauté. Elles se présentent à Marc comme un défi et une invitation à leur donner des forms spatiales. Intentionnellement libres du réalisme, les dessins et les maquettes font écho aux brèves rencontres de Sandra avec les objets abandonnés ou jetés et à son art de les transfigurer.

Les œuvres présentées amplifient un processus de questionnement – déclenché dans le dialogue entre Sandra et Marc – sur les matériaux et les formes du monde que nous habitons et le monde de l’imagination. Associant des images et des espaces à plusieurs échelles, les photographies, les dessins et les maquettes s’entremêlent dans une résonance partagée qui mène vers un espace à découvrir – l’incréé – et invite e visiteur à y participer comme dans un rêve matérialisé.


Streetscapes – Towards the uncreated
The fruit of a rich collaboration, this exhibition is an open dialogue between an artist and an architect, Sandra Binion and Marc Dilet, a striking intersection of interpretation and creation.

It begins with Sandra’s photographic observations of amazing street detritus which she captures in a meticulous selection process. Through her incisive eye, these scraps take on forms of beauty. They present to Marc a challenge and an invitation to give them spatial forms. Intentionally free from realism, the drawings and models echo Sandra’s brief encounters with abandoned or discarded objects and her art of transfiguring them.

The works presented amplify a process of questioning that, triggered in the dialogue between Sandra and Marc, goes back and forth with the materials and forms of the world we inhabit and with the world of the imagination. Combining images and spaces at several scales, the photographs, drawings and models intermingle in a shared resonance in which the visitor is invited to participate, as in a materialized dream.
